Synopsis: a girl named Hikari Asahina wanted to know what happened to her parents and the incident 16yrs ago…
She received an invitation from a worldwide famous institution named new rose academy, informing her that she could possess the same characteristics as her parents did.
Curiosity led hikari from disobeying her uncle who raised her like a father.
Together with her closest friend , yuriko kirizaki. They were to discover what lies beyond the isolated institution that is located at the heart of the pacific ocean.

Welcome to new rose academy
“but uncle!!”
“no Hikari.. Don’t make the same mistake”
Uncle, he was the only person who took care of me when I was still a child though I still have my grandparents. unfortunately, they chose my sister over me. Uncle took me in his care with an open hand, fully accepting me like his own daughter. He had a lot of misfortunes. Losing his wife and living alone in Osaka, Japan since her older sister(my mother..actually) vanished. I don’t know what happened to my parents since uncle is not uttering a word.
Today I got an invitation from a great institution saying I could be like my parents. That there is something in me that needs to be sharpen. I was quite clueless but I was really eager of knowing information about my parents. Maybe this could lead me to the reason behind their disappearance. But uncle, the moment I said the name of the academy, he was enraged. I was starting to think that this academy is the one responsible for everything.
After the discussion between me and uncle, I went up to my room. The mark of disappointment was on my face. I wasted time thinking about EVERYTHING…I was so puzzled I couldn’t afford to take a nap. When I looked at my wrist clock, I realized how long had I been thinking. It was already midnight. I guess everybody is asleep. I checked downstairs to see if uncle or if any of the workers is still awake. I peeked at the open door of uncle’s suite. He was dead asleep. I sneakily went to my room and packed my garments. I left a message for my uncle stating that I was sorry and very grateful after all what he did for me. I carried the freight still wary of the surroundings. When I got outside the mansion, I RAN. Out of my uncle’s proximity then I managed to go at yuriko’s place unharmed.
“that’s the whole story yuriko..”
“I thought you lost your mind coming here by foot”
“so what are your plans now?” she asked
In front of me stood my closest friend. Her name is yuriko kirizaki. A simple and a very kind friend. She is to be the heiress to one of the major stock holder in japan.
I took a deep breath and told her my ideas.
“I will go to that academy…”
“I can’t stay here for any longer. I’m sure uncle will search every nooks in town especially yours…”
Yuriko seemed to be worried. She walked repeatedly from the same corner, with her right hand holding her chin.
“Ill join you..” she demand
“really?!!” I exclaimed.
“It will be an interesting journey.. right? Besides, you don’t know what’s out there.
Its’ better if you had a companion” she convinced.
“yuriko…” my eyes became slimmer and started using my special talent
“stop it… youre making me cry” I acted. Rubbing my eyes as tears formed into my eyes.
“that’s your useless talent hikari!!!!”
“Its not!!”
“It is!!”
“its not!!”
“it is!!”
The debate continued until the last man standing…the conversation isn’t going anywhere so I decided to admit that it is my talent =p we both laughed at ourselves and I let her win our pointless argue.
“first thing in the morning… ill make the preparations for our enrollment. We’ll go to the academy tomorrow”
“for now. Take a rest.” She sincerely smiled
-Morning came-
I heard some noises outside the vicinity. A man’s voice shouting. It was quite familiar. That instantly I realized it was…
I TREMBLED in fear. My feet are shaking as I walked to the window. I slightly lifted the curtain and saw my uncle trying to get inside yuriko’s mansion with his men in black body guards to support him.
“crap” I chuckled. “I am so dead”
I saw yuriko rushing towards me, pulling me outside the room.
“faster hikari!!… your uncle is here.. we need to escape.” She said with a terrified look.
We flit from the back gate with a fancy white car waiting for us. As we got inside, tha car started moving. I catch a glimpse of uncle arguing with the butler.i felt really badly. Uncle was just trying to protect me. But all I was giving him was a headache. I stared blankly at the window shield. Watching the different sceneries . I really wanted to cry…but I cant. I need to be strong, even though I’m not. I unpurposely ignored what yuriko is saying since I was focused on my thoughts. After a few minutes, I noticed that we’re crossing a bridge. A very VERY long bridge.
“yuriko??”
“where are we?” I curiously asked.
“I already told you many times!! “
I was not keeping attention so I did not heard what she was saying.
“where else do you think we’re going? She grinned.
I turned my head to our destination. The bridge is very long I guess it’s a milliard miles away from the town. It merely took us an hour before we reached the zone.
I opened the car’s door and walked to the entrance. Yuriko came to followed me. I gazed to the gigantic walls. I wonder what lies beyond? Yuriko called my attention when she grabbed my hand and pulled me inside.
“hikari..”
“Welcome to NEW ROSE ACADEMY”
